Getting the bathroom layout right
Moving every fitting is not always the best use of the budget. Sometimes keeping the main waste and water positions allows more to be spent on the suite and finish. In other rooms, a layout change can improve access, storage or shower size enough to justify the extra work.
We look at door swings, clear space around the toilet and basin, shower access, towel storage and cleaning. The room should work on a rushed weekday morning as well as it looks in a photograph.
Electrical work near baths and showers and some plumbing alterations may need to meet Building Regulations requirements. The relevant work should be completed and notified by appropriately qualified people where required. We will explain what applies to the agreed project.
